We have sourced and hand selected a SMALL BATCH of 12AX7-PVT to meet ongoing customer requests for 9-pin pre-amp tubes. -PVT is the shortform for ‘Premium Vacuum Tubes’.

They are screened for low noise and low microphonics, and excellent warm tonality.

Two versions available: 

  • Version A – triple mica plates inside the tube. Lower noise floor, superior performance than Version B.
  • Version B – box plate with dual mica plates inside the tube.

 

Version A: triple (3) mica plates inside the tube

 

Version B: box plate with dual (2) mica plates inside the tube.
