Grant Fidelity is an independent business, founded in 2006 in Canada and commits to operate according to the highest possible standards of western business ethics. Grant Fidelity are not associated with any particular vacuum tube brands, and our product selection and comments are not controlled or biased by any particular brand, no matter big or small in terms of market shares.
That is to say: When a certain vacuum tube brand’s product quality is observed by us through our own QC control to be deteriorating over time and cannot be mitigated, we will opt to drop the brand or product line(s) to maintain our consistent commitment to high quality. We believe in that consistent high quality in the high end audio world is what is truly desired and valued by long term loyal audiophiles.
Grant Fidelity is not a ‘lowest internet price’ type of vacuum tubes seller. We understand low price is like gravity that is very hard to resist. However, quality comes with costs, and our tube pricing reflects their corresponding quality.

A few facts that a buyer need to be aware of before making purchase with us:
Grant Fidelity do not aim to be the cheapest internet vendor, because general rules are ‘you get what you paid for’. This is even more true when import goods from China, no matter what the seller swears that his or her product quality is just as good but price is better. When a vendor offers low price, somewhere corners must be cut to offset the costs. This is plain and true business common sense, and has been confirmed by our 30+ years of sourcing products from China.
Grant Fidelity aim to be the best in quality, service, honesty and integrity. We are not volume driven with lowest pricing. We are a Canadian business value quality and service. We are not a sub-division of any Chinese brands or businesses, and we don’t participate price war to compromise quality.
Not all tubes rolling off the factory production line are the same – their measurements and intrinsic quality can be of night & day difference, but visual appearance is still exactly the same to consumer eyes. New tube hobbyists should be aware of this critical difference and plain fact before questioning us ‘why your tubes are not as cheap as I found on eBay, Amazon or AliExpress etc by another vendor’.
Not every ‘Made in China’ tube is “crap” as some audiophiles bluntly claimed with or without first hand experience of true high quality Chinese tubes. But many “CRAP Chinese tubes” are sold on eBay, AudiogoN, Aliexpress or individual ‘flash pop-up’ websites to worldwide by all kinds profit driven vendors – many are not even authorized by the brands to sell inside Chinese domestic market but they get supplies from some backdoor channel / 3rd cousin then resell them to overseas market for quick profit. These vendors come and go and if there are complaints on their quality, they simply shut down one domain and register another, to continue bait new customers with low price. Please shop wisely. It is a thrill to shopping for bargains, but it’s not a thrill to be left with a broken product that you cannot find the seller anymore.
