Details of Cosmetic Imperfection: 

• The brass base / pin of the pair of 805 tubes may show different shade of colors due to air exposure to the metal during storage time. For pins, you can opt to use fine grain sand paper to polish them gently. Using the tubes as they are is fine too. Many NOS tubes have similar air exposure related cosmetic oxidation – it doesn’t affect the tube’s useful life and do not affect the internal vacuum sealed components.

Potential floating glass pieces from future shipping: 

• This 805 tube is of heavy carbon plate. Vibration of the heavy plate structure during shipping may cause small pieces of glass chipped off from the stem bottom. See pictures below for illustration of the floating loose glass pieces in similar structured large tube (marked by small red square). Once the tube is installed standing upright, the glass pieces will fall to bottom of the glass enclosure and no longer visible. This cosmetic imperfection does NOT affect tube function whatsoever.

Significant discount has been included in the clearance price, to offset the above mentioned cosmetic imperfection as clearance stock.

• Tested on Amplitrex AT1000 computerized testing system @ 500V with strong emission at 100-120% of full emission – Note: contact us BEFORE placing order if your amplifier has an auto shut off feature, because the strong emission may be wrongly taken as ‘false short’ and cause the amp to shut off.
