Note: In this new batch, we have opted to install a metal tag INSIDE the tube showing ‘GF-Select’ and serial number, instead of silk printing logos on the glass. This is to reduce manual handling & potential damage during the outsourced printing process to our selected top quality tubes. We have also enhanced the tube with dual getters to absorb gas during factory burn-in, and improved plate coating for better reliability and longevity.

Tube Fitting: (check on your amp before order)
The 6SN7-SE widest part is 58.5mm (2 1/3″) diameter. Assuming you need two tubes 0.5cm (about 1/4″) apart, you will need 5.85cm + 0.5 = 6.35cm (2 1/2″) from center to center of the tube sockets in order to install two tubes side by side.

It is a ‘Special Edition’ (SE): all previous Treasure series of tubes all have carbon coating inside to make the tube a ‘black bottle’. This one is of a see through clear glass enclosure, but in globe shape, like the original Western Electric 101D tubes which are in high demand today by high end audiophile worldwide.
In order to ensure this Special Edition globe shape 6SN7 to be of the best possible quality, we actually throw away over 50% of all finished production tubes not to compromise on final quality. After the initial screening, the passing tubes are further screened for low noise, section balancing and optimal plate current etc..All Grant Fidelity screening efforts have resulted this Globe 6SN7-SE to be a very limited edition for worldwide audiophiles who demand the very best quality and they are ONLY sold direct by Grant Fidelity on this website. There are two grades available – Low noise (A) and Driver stage (B) for different application, with the driver stage (B) grade slightly less expensive than the A grade.
