2. Tube sales are final. No trial. No return for refund
All vacuum tubes sales are FINAL except specially approved by us BEFORE your purchase. We provide warranty replacement as per conditions listed on this website. No refund is provided once order is placed.
3. 90-Days Warranty & 180-days Extended Warranty on E-Series, WE Replica series and items over US$500/pair
All vacuum tubes come with 90 calendar days limited warranty unless otherwise mentioned on the product listing page.
New 180-days Warranty Extension on selected tubes:
As of March 8th, 2025, with manufacturer support, we are extending [Linlai™ Global] Elite E-Series, WE-Replica Series, and any other non-clearance category tubes which are priced over US$500 per pair to 180 calendar days from the purchase order date. This extension is valid until further notice or upon removal from this website page.
4. Warranty coverage details
Tube warranty covers manufacturer defects but not improper usage by the end user. Please note that a defective tube will usually fail in 30 days of normal use and we will provide replacement free of charge except return shipping and tax levies by your country.
All tubes were tested before stored into our warehouse and they pass the designated quality level as declared on this website. Tubes are highly fragile glassware that could be damaged internally in transit – this is covered by our warranty as long as you report the issue within 7 days of receiving the tubes.
Shipping damage is not a ground for requesting refund – shipping risk is a shared risk between buyer and seller for internet orders. If you are NOT prepared to share such risk by paying to ship the damaged tubes back to us, please do NOT proceed with placing an order on this site. Once order placed, we take it as you agreed to understand the risk and share the risk with us, then we will do our best to provide warranty replacement as soon as possible for you.
5. Buyer’s own testing or 3rd party testing results are NOT accepted for warranty claim
Neither us nor the tube manufacturer accept any warranty claim based on buyers’ own tube testing equipment’. Because of the large varieties of vintage tube testers on their market and their conditions, testing method and accuracy are not possible to be known by us nor the tube factory, all test results submitted from such testers are inadmissible (NOT accepted) for warranty claim and this cannot be negotiated with the tube factory.
Warranty return testing will be conducted on our exact same testing equipment that was used to test tube BEFORE tube orders shipping, to minimize systematic variation caused by test equipment.
6. ‘Perfectionist expectations’ cannot be met in the real world
Tubes are electronic parts – we as a vendor sell them as electronic parts with specifications meeting certain quality level as listed on this site, with inherent specification tolerance as seen on all types of electronics parts. It is NOT possible to have electronic parts all having exactly the same 100% spot on spec measurements.
Electronic parts are designed and made to operate within a ‘tolerance’ and any measurement within such tolerance is all deemed acceptable by the parts manufacturer. Deviation within the tolerance range is NOT manufacturer’s defects. It is simply about engineering, science, math and statistics. Our Quality Control is about controlling ‘tolerance’ but not about magically creating 100% perfection on EVERY tube.
For the rare and very minority group of consumers who are absolute perfectionist wanting every electronic parts spot on measured identical, unfortunately we have NO means to meet such ‘perfectionist’ requirements, and NO orders should be placed by such perfectionists with us, by phone, email or directly on our webstore, based on such ‘perfectionist’ expectations.
7. No sonic prediction nor sonic description warranty can be provided.
We do not sell sound because tubes are only part of a playback system – we cannot predict or guarantee or warrant what sound you get from your system. Listening is an individualized highly subjective experience that cannot be warranted or guaranteed by electronics parts manufacturer or vendors. If for some reason the sound doesn’t seem to appeal to you, please feel free to resell the tubes privately on many online e-commerce platforms.
Tubes are a consumable product – we do not offer trial for vacuum tubes, as used tubes have no resale value to us, and shipping handling import fees etc will make no business sense to us. We are not in the business of selling used tubes like many private vendors do.
8. Read online of what others say. But make your own decision.
We strongly recommend you to read as much as you can about past customer feedback before you make a purchase. Keep in mind that tube sound evaluation is highly subjective and can be different from one system to the other, and from one person to another. Past customer feedback is for your reference only and it is not what we can warrant for your specific audio setup.
You also need to be aware that online reviews / listening impressions can be misleading at times, due to the posts writers’ experience with the tube hobby. Take everything with a grain of salt, and set expectations to a reasonable level.
9. Tube rolling is at buyer’s risk
Tube warranty is on manufacturer material or workmanship defects of the tubes only. When you use tubes other than what were provided by your original tube audio equipment vendor, you will bear the risk of incompatibility between the newly-purchased non-stock tubes and your audio equipment. If such incompatibility happens (which is quite rare), please feel free to resell your tubes privately. We cannot accept tubes returned for incompatibility because we do not sell used tubes. There is active market for used tubes on eBay or AudigoN with many buyers worldwide.
10. Exclusive remedy and not liable for consequential damages & losses
Any implied warranty related to products purchased from this website shall be limited to the duration of the above limited warranty period and the seller reserves the right to replace or refund at its sole discretion.
Under no circumstances the seller is liable for any consequential or incidental damages or losses. Buyers should check with their amplifier manufacturer if you are not sure the tubes you install to your amplifier is compatible to your amplifier’s design. We are not able to give substitute advice as we do not have information and it is not possible for us to know all tube amps on the market. Direct questions to your amplifier dealer or manufacturer please.
11. Follow EXACT return instructions
All warranty return must be sent to our Canadian warehouse as instructed for examination and warranty validation. We will notify you if the reported problem is not covered by tube manufacturer’s warranty.
Customers are responsible for returning the products to our warehouses and we will cover shipping replacement back to customers. We do not cover duty and taxes on replacement shipments.
All returns must obtain our return instruction via email first, and buyer needs to follow it EXACTLY in order for us to timely process your return. We reserve the right not to accept a return without our written authorization. You must include your full name, valid address and email used for original order, with your return shipment.
12. Restocking fee on authorized final return
In VERY rare cases when return is authorized solely at our discretion, a minimum of 25% to 35% of item value will be deducted from refund to compensate previous order fulfillment costs, testing / re-testing labor costs, and restocking / repackaging costs, plus potential revenue loss for ‘used items’ which can only be sold at very large discount etc.
